ATTC talkMobility: Alternative Drive Energies to Protect the Environment
Roughly 200 high-ranking representatives from the worlds of business, science, industry, the media and politics accepted the invitation of the Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster (ATTC) last evening to the sixth talkMobility event at Studio 44 of the Austrian Lotteries on Rennweg. In addition to the presentation by solar pioneer Louis Palmer titled “Around the World with the Power of the Sun,” the program also included a podium discussion on the topic of “Alternative Drive Energies and Traffic Telematics Challenges” as well as the acceptance of two new members – IBM and Thales – into the ATTC. As usual, ATTC general secretary Hartwig Hufnagl moderated the evening with great enthusiasm.
Everyone recognizes how important this highly sensitive topic is, and many want to know more. A look at the guest list bears this out: Visitors included federal minister Nikolaus Berlakovich, ATTC president and ASFINAG managing board member Alois Schedl, Siemens CEO Brigitte Ederer, IBM CEO Leo Steiner, Thales managing director Alfred Veider, BMVIT division head Peter Franzmayr and many more.
