On May 14, 2014, the Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster (ATTC) invited to talkMobility for the 8th time – this time to the Orangerie in Schönbrunn Palace. Secretary-General Mag. Hartwig Hufnagl moderated the evening as keynote speakers offered Planning Director of the City of Vienna, Thomas Madreiter and Freiburg City Council, Frank Uekermann exciting and interesting lectures on the topic: “Vienna – Freiburg – Smart Cities in the Mobility Check” In the subsequent round of questions with public participation, the insights were further illuminated and a comparison in the implementation and feasibility between Vienna and Freiburg pulled and further discussed on the current topic “traffic telematics challenges in metropolitan areas”.
