ATTC presidency

In the course of the ATTC General Assembly on May 15, 2019, the official handover of the ATTC presidency took place in the premises of the ATTC. Josef Fiala.

ATTC Vice President thanked former ATTC Chairman Dr. Ing. Josef Fiala on behalf of everyone present for his many years of outstanding work for the ATTC Austrian Telematics Cluster and then welcomed him in his new role as ATTC President.

Dr. Josef Fiala emphasized that he wanted to continue the successful path of the ATTC and especially emphasized the added value of the interaction of the member companies represented in the ATTC, which come from different areas.

The “ATTC – Austrian Traffic Telematics Cluster” was founded in 2003 on the initiative of ASFINAG as an association for the promotion of telematics. In the interests of the Austrian economy, the cluster of 23 renowned Austrian companies from research, industry and industry has set itself the goal of working both on the further development and on the practical implementation of new technologies in the field of telematics systems for the transport sector. Since its inception, the ATTC pioneer has already been involved in a large number of projects between operators, system providers and research institutes in the field of traffic telematics. The current focal points for 2017/2018 in the area of ​​joint projects and cooperations are i.a. on the digital infrastructure, traffic and traffic management as well as automated driving.
